Questions about gifting an eSIM
Can I buy an eSIM for someone else?
Yes. Pick a destination and plan, then at checkout tick "This is a gift" and add the traveler's email. The install code goes straight to them, with your personal message if you wrote one.
What's a good gift for someone traveling abroad?
An eSIM is a gift they use every day of the trip: maps, bookings and WhatsApp home, without a pricey carrier roaming package. It arrives by email, so you can send it even at the last minute.
How much does a gift eSIM cost?
The same as any plan on the site: plans start at ₪4, and the price depends on the destination, data and days. There's no extra charge for gifting.
Do I need their phone number?
No. Just their email address. That's where your message, the QR code and the install steps are sent.
Will they see how much I paid?
No. The email they get shows no price. The receipt is sent only to you.
Can I choose when the gift is sent?
Yes, if you want. At checkout tick "Choose when the gift is sent" and pick a date and time, up to 90 days ahead. The time is Israel time. You get a copy with the date right away, and they get the gift exactly when you chose. If you don't choose, it's sent right after payment.
When does the validity start?
On the first connection at the destination, not on the day of purchase. Installing needs internet, so they should install at home before the flight.
What if the email didn't reach them?
You get a copy of the email. Forward it to them, or write to us and we'll resend it. Just don't scan the code on your own phone: it can be installed only once.
Can I send to several people?
Each gift goes to one person. For several travelers, place a separate order for each, each with its own message.
What if their phone doesn't support eSIM?
That's why it's worth checking by model before buying. If you already bought and the eSIM isn't installed yet, you can request a cancellation under the terms.
