Terms of Use

Last updated: October 2026

This is an English translation of our Hebrew terms of use, provided for convenience. If the two versions differ, the Hebrew version prevails.

1. General

The FlySim website ("the site", "the business", "we") sells eSIM plans for mobile data abroad. Use of the site and the purchase of eSIM plans through it are subject to these terms. Placing an order requires ticking the terms confirmation on the checkout page, and ticking it constitutes full acceptance of these terms.

Purchases on the site are permitted for people aged 18 and over who hold a valid payment method in their own name. A minor who makes a purchase on the site declares that they have received permission from their parent or guardian.

2. The service

FlySim sells digital mobile data plans (eSIM) for use abroad. Each plan includes a data allowance and a validity period in days, as stated on the product page. Plans are data-only, with no local phone number, and are intended for personal and lawful use only.

  • The service is provided through local network operators at the destination. The list of destinations, networks and plans may change from time to time; the binding details are those shown on the product page at the time of purchase.
  • On some plans traffic is routed through a server in another country, so websites and apps may detect a location different from your destination. This is stated on the product page where relevant.
  • The service does not work in flight, on ships at sea, or outside the coverage areas of local networks.

3. Orders and payment

Prices on the site are in Israeli new shekels (₪) and are the final amount payable. Payment is made through a secure payment provider, and card details are not stored on the site's servers. An order is complete only once the payment provider confirms the payment. A receipt is sent to the email address given in the order after every payment.

The business may update prices and plans from time to time. Such updates do not apply to an order that has already been paid. The business may refuse an order, or cancel it and refund the full payment, in the event of a material error in the price or product description, suspected fraud or unlawful use of a payment method, or an obstacle on the network operator's side.

4. Delivery policy

The product is digital and is not shipped physically, so there are no shipping fees. Once payment is confirmed, a QR code for installation is sent to the email address given in the order, together with installation instructions. Delivery is automatic, usually within a few minutes of payment confirmation.

  • If the email has not arrived within an hour, check your spam folder and then contact us, and we will resend the code.
  • If for any reason we cannot deliver the plan within 24 hours of payment confirmation, the transaction will be cancelled and the full amount paid will be refunded.

5. Plan validity and use

  • A plan's validity starts with the first connection to a network at the destination, or at another time as stated on the product page. We recommend installing the eSIM before your flight and activating it when you land.
  • Data not used by the end of the plan's validity expires and is not carried over to another plan. A remaining balance cannot be transferred to another person or plan.
  • The QR code can be installed only once and on one device. An eSIM deleted from the device usually cannot be reinstalled, so do not delete it before you have finished using it. Loss, theft or replacement of the device does not entitle you to a replacement plan or a refund.
  • Data usage is measured according to the network operator's records, and there may be minor differences compared with the counter on your device.
  • Internet sharing (hotspot) and fair-use limits on "unlimited" plans are subject to the details on the product page. On these plans, speed may be reduced after the daily full-speed allowance is used, as described there.

6. Cancellations and refunds

We commit that every customer will receive the plan they bought, and if not, will get their money back. Cancellations are handled in accordance with Israel's Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, and the Consumer Protection Regulations (Cancellation of Transaction), 5771-2010, as follows:

  • Plan not delivered: a full refund, as described in section 4.
  • Plan not yet installed: you may cancel within 14 days of purchase, as long as the QR code has not been scanned and the eSIM has not been installed on a device, for any reason (including a cancelled flight or a device that does not support eSIM). The refund is given less a cancellation fee of 5% of the transaction amount or ₪100, whichever is lower, as set by law.
  • Senior citizens, people with disabilities and new immigrants: may cancel, on the same terms, within four months of purchase, if the transaction included a conversation with us (including by phone or WhatsApp), subject to presenting an appropriate certificate.
  • A fault on our side: a plan that did not work at the destination because of a technical fault on our side or the network operator's, which we were unable to resolve, entitles you to a full refund with no cancellation fee. If the plan worked for only part of the period, a proportional refund or credit is given for the days without data. So that we can check and fix the problem, contact us while the plan is still valid, preferably while you are still at the destination, and follow the support instructions.
  • Plan installed or used: since this is a digital service produced and delivered specifically for the customer, the transaction cannot be cancelled once the eSIM has been installed or use has begun, except in the case of a fault on our side as described above.

A cancellation request can be made by email, phone, WhatsApp or through the contact page (details in section 13), together with the order number or the email address used for the order. The refund will be made to the payment method used for the transaction within 14 days of receiving the cancellation request, and a cancellation document will be sent. The actual date the credit appears depends on the card issuer or payment provider.

If there is any problem with an order, please contact us first and we will make every effort to resolve it quickly, before asking your card issuer to reverse the charge.

7. Customer responsibility

  • Before buying, make sure your device supports eSIM and is not locked to a single carrier, for example using the device checker on the site.
  • The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the email address provided, for keeping the installation code, and for installing it according to the instructions.
  • While abroad, we recommend turning off roaming on your home SIM card. The business is not responsible for charges from the customer's own mobile carrier.
  • We recommend keeping an alternative means of communication in case of a problem while traveling.

8. Fair use and prohibited use

Plans are intended for personal, non-commercial use. They may not be resold, used for unlawful activity, for sending spam, or for actions that harm the network or the site, and the site may not be used by automated tools. The business may cancel an order or block use of the site if this section is breached or there is reasonable suspicion of fraud.

9. Liability of the business and the site

  • The business is responsible for the sale, delivery of the plan and customer service as described in these terms, and undertakes to act transparently and to provide all material information on the product page before payment.
  • Content on the site, including descriptions of destinations, coverage and speeds, is provided in good faith based on information from network operators. Actual speed and coverage depend on the local network, location and device, and are beyond our control.
  • The business is not responsible for faults in local mobile networks, disruptions beyond its control (such as war, a state of emergency, orders of authorities or force majeure), device incompatibility that could have been checked in advance, or indirect damage. In any event, the business's liability is limited to the amount actually paid for the order.
  • The business makes an effort to keep the site available, secure and error-free, but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. An obvious clerical error in a price or description will not bind the business, and in such a case the customer will be offered the option to cancel and receive a full refund.
  • The site may include links to third-party websites, and we are not responsible for their content.

10. Privacy

We collect only the information needed to process the order and provide the service (such as an email address and a name for the receipt), and will not pass it to third parties except to provide the service (the payment provider and the eSIM provider) or as required by law. Card details are entered directly with the payment provider and are not stored by us. We will not send marketing emails without explicit consent: the order form has a separate box, optional and not pre-ticked, for agreeing to receive promotional emails (including a reminder about an unfinished order). Anyone who ticked it can unsubscribe at any time, through the link in every email or by contacting us. Full details are in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

11. Intellectual property

All content on the site, including text, design, logo and images, belongs to the business or is displayed under license, and may not be copied or used without prior written permission.

12. Governing law, jurisdiction and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Israel have jurisdiction. The business may update these terms from time to time. The binding terms are those in force when the order was placed. If any section of these terms is found to be invalid, the remaining sections remain in force.
