Accessibility Statement

Last updated: October 16, 2026

At FlySim we consider it very important to provide an equal and accessible service to the whole public, including people with disabilities. This site was adapted out of a commitment to the requirements of Israel's Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, and Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on the World Wide Web Consortium's WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA, with the Israeli changes set out in the standard.

Accessibility level

The site has been adapted to the requirements of Israeli Standard 5568 at level AA, subject to the limitations described below. Accessibility was checked using automated scanning tools (contrast, semantic structure, labels and ARIA attributes) and manual testing of keyboard navigation and adapted display. The site has not yet been reviewed by an external certified accessibility expert; such a review is planned.

What has been implemented

  • Full keyboard navigation across the site, including a "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page.
  • A visible focus indicator on all interactive elements: links, buttons and form fields.
  • Menus and dialogs (such as the cookie preferences window) trap keyboard focus inside them, close with the Esc key, and return focus to where they were opened from.
  • Proper labels for all form fields, and alternative text (aria-label) for icon buttons and decorative images.
  • A correct semantic heading structure (H1–H3) reflecting the content hierarchy on every page, and use of structural elements (header, nav, main, footer).
  • Color contrast meeting the required ratio (at least 4.5:1 for normal text) between text and background.
  • Support for browser text zoom up to 200% and a responsive layout across a wide range of screen sizes and devices.
  • Respecting the operating system's "reduce motion" setting (prefers-reduced-motion): animations are limited automatically for those who requested it.
  • A floating accessibility toolbar (in the corner of the screen) for personal adjustments: larger/smaller text, high contrast, grayscale, highlighted links, readable font, stopping animations, a large cursor and a reading guide. Preferences are saved for future visits. The toolbar is a convenience tool only; the site's accessibility does not depend on it.

Known limitations

  • The site has not yet been thoroughly tested with screen reader users.
  • The payment pages are operated by external payment providers (Takbull and PayPal); their accessibility is the providers' responsibility and outside our control.
  • The site chat includes an automated assistant whose answers may be less convenient to use with a screen reader.
  • PDF receipts sent by email may not be fully accessible.

In any of these cases you can contact us through the channels listed below, and we will be happy to help and provide the information or service in an alternative way. We continue to improve the site's accessibility on an ongoing basis and will update this statement accordingly.

Physical accessibility

FlySim operates as an online-only business and does not run a branch or premises open to the public. We therefore have no physical premises requiring accessibility adjustments separate from the site.

Reporting an accessibility issue or requesting an accommodation

Did you run into an accessibility difficulty on the site, find a component that is not properly accessible, or need an accommodation to receive the service? You can contact us through any of these channels:

To help us handle your request quickly, please include a description of the problem, the page where you encountered it, and how we can reach you. We will try to respond and handle your request within a reasonable time, and in any case no later than the deadlines set in the regulations.

Contacting the Commission for Equal Rights of Persons with Disabilities

If contacting us did not produce a satisfactory response, you can contact the Commission for Equal Rights of Persons with Disabilities at the Ministry of Justice, which is responsible for enforcing the equality law in Israel.
